FAQs

Answering common questions

If you are under the age of 16 I will need around 30 minutes with mum or caregiver to answer a questionnaire. I’ll also need to have a brief chat with the girls separately where I can go through the journey and answer any questions, this can be over the phone or in person. Once a commitment is made and then if you’re both happy to book, payment in full would need to be made before the start date.

The duration of sessions depend on the type of programme, currently level 1 is five sessions each 4 hours long. After the journey has ended, the group can decide if they want to continue meeting up monthly and there is continued support.

I run groups for ages 12-14/15 year olds, 14-16 year olds, 16-18 year olds and 18-21year olds.

It can help to have a meeting first, ideally in person, either with the three of us or one to one,  so she can meet me and share any concerns. She will always be made to feel welcome and she will never have to do anything she is not comfortable with. It will be a fun and informative journey, it’s just getting through the door the first time can be the hardest bit especially when its the unknown. On the other hand, it may not be the right time, or the right journey for your daughter, which is totally fine, the decision must be right for her.

I do offer one to one sessions too which could be another option, or I could suggest some things you can do with your daughter to support her.

I currently run circles in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, I’m open to travelling though it depends on the circumstances and the space available.

There are a few projects in the UK working with boys, I can also recommend someone in Hertfordshire who is doing boys circles.

yes I offer individual sessions and mentoring is available during the journey and after.
